Wake up for a morning dip (you’re on the beach in less than a minute) before heading back for breakfast on your veranda – fresh pineapple and mango with waffles and homemade doughnuts or bacon and eggs.

Take the island at your own tempo – grab a tennis court, suit-up for watersports or lounge on the beach.

Chill out in the breeze for fish tacos (smoked or flame-grilled) or a beetroot and chickpea burger with pineapple chutney. Finish with a chocolate and coconut sundae.

Head to the ice-cream parlour for rum cones or a lime sorbet, stopping at Stanley's colourful fruit stand for fresh bananas, watermelon and a snap-happy vignette.

Time to get sand in your toes and a drink in your hand. Looking for somewhere private? Buggy to the beaches on the other side of the island.

Grab the cooler for your evening picnic on the beach. We love the cucumber salad with hot starfruit and guava jelly. Time it right for sunset views.

Depending on the day of the week, end the evening with backgammon at the hotel or dancing at Jump Up. Bonus points if you catch Taco & Tequila night on Thursdays. Either way, a nightcap at Basil's is a must.
