You're right next to one of the prettiest gardens in Lisbon, Parque Eduardo VII. Get lost in the green, making sure you visit the greenhouse (Estufa Fria) which is tucked away right in the middle.

Lisbon is very walkable, and you're less than a ten-minute walk to A Cevicheria. Reservations are highly recommended, this is a popular spot (for a good reason). Ask for a seat at the counter.

Grab dessert at Manteigaria; they specialise in pasteis de nata (custard tarts). Stand up at the bar to eat, watching the team work on the next batch. It's quite the production line. We always grab more to takeaway for breakfast the next morning…

Not far away is one of the oldest candle shops in the world so swing by Caza das Vellas Loreto to stock up. They make good gifts, and the team there will individually wrap the candles for you. It's worth a photo too; the wooden interiors are completely sweet.

The step count is high now, so give the legs a rest and head to nearby Prado for dinner and some vinho verde (zingy green wine). Reservations are a must. Grab a taxi back to the hotel.
