sun seekers, slow travel
7:37 AM
There are two programs worth checking out before breakfast: a trail run (the hotel has a very fun jogging and trail path you can follow in between the trees) or bird watching (don't forget your binoculars).
8:48 AM
We love breakfast the Jamaican way: dinner as breakfast. Enjoy local specialities like brown stew fish, Jamaican patty or callaloo (a kind of spinach), with a fresh fruit juice.
10:04 AM
Find the paddleboards and challenge your best over-water balance. These waters are so blue and clear, you’re almost guaranteed to spot a couple of cool and colourful fish.
12:00 PM
Back at the hotel, head to the beach. You can sunbathe while having lunch. Go for the cool Jamaican classics to snack on: fried plantain and tons of fresh papaya. Don't forget your SPF.
3:00 PM
This tasting is held in the old British style, with molasses. Try rums from old and mythical distilleries. Sober curious guests can go for a coffee sampling.
7:52 PM
They know how to prepare a good cocktail here. We love to go classic with a Planter's Punch made with Jamaican rum, fresh lime juice and sugar cane juice, to sip with a view.
8:23 PM
Each night has a different theme at the restaurant. We love Mondays for the beach barbecue and Fridays for Jamaican night.

There’s a gorgeous organic garden where they grow their own fruits and vegetables. If they don’t produce it themselves, they will work with local growers to source.
They organise thoughtful charity balls, where the proceeds go to organisations they admire, plus their team volunteers at a few as well.
They have a place called 'The Nursery,' where they take baby plants and care for them before adding them to the property. They are also very conscious about water usage and use compost from the restaurant to nurture the plants.
