Via Del Corso in Rome, just by the Trevi Fountain and the beloved Giolitti gelateria, is home to this 39-room eclectic stay. The team behind it have filled it with bold contemporary art and genuinely warm hospitality: a rooftop terrace with city views, a bar that draws the neighbourhood, and rooms that feel genuinely designed. A characterful and very central Rome address.

8:11 AM
It's never not worth a peek. See the Trevi Fountain first thing, well before the visitors flock. A heads up that the fountain is emptied and cleaned weekly on Monday and Friday mornings.
9:32 AM
We love to catch the morning coffee rush. Head to Sant’Eustachio il Caffè, just past the Pantheon. It’s an old wood-fired coffee roastery. Drink it at the bar (an espresso that is), as the locals do.
11:02 AM
Only a few streets over is Gammarelli, the custom tailor that makes all the silk socks for the priests, popes and hundreds of cardinals and bishops across Rome. You can get a pair yourself, we suggest going classic with red.
1:00 PM
The best way to see the city is by walking. Clock up the step count and make your way over to Trastevere, a cool ‘across the river’ neighbourhood. Wait it out in the queue for Da Enzo, then order the artichokes, fried or cooked in the pan, two traditional dishes you can’t go wrong with.
5:46 PM
We love the concept of an early evening stroll – a passeggiata. Head to the Pantheon – the square here gets lively and we love the floodlit buildings. Grab an aperitivo (avoiding any place with pictures of food outside) for fun people-watching.
8:00 PM
Dinner at Armando al Pantheon – a mere few steps away. Best to make a reservation, especially if you want to sit inside. Run by the Gargioli family since 1961, we order the Carbonara everytime, the signature dish of the city.

The aim: to merge past and present. To restore and upcycle rather than gut and paste over. The hotel is preserved and cherished from the ground up.
Chef Federico Sartucci worked with farmers from the region who grow delicious local produce to use in his Roman restaurant dishes.
Sustainable measures have been put in place. From energy saving lighting and touchless faucets.
