Family-owned since 1963, managed by the Cerboneschi family, this Val d'Isère chalet puts tradition and detail first, wooden headboards with sweet carvings, natural stone floors, fluffy duvets, and mountain views. Some rooms have fireplaces, others bunk beds; the bar is a village hub where anyone passing through Val d'Isère stops for a drink.

a long weekend, a week
Family-owned since 1963. Managed by the Cerboneschi family ever since.
ski bunnies, Winter stay, Ones to watch
8:03 AM
Wake up with enough time to enjoy a breakfast feast – local meats and cheeses, fresh juice, coffee by the pot. It’s a needed fuel up for getting out on the slopes.
9:44 AM
Getting out early enough to catch the first lift, being only one of a few skiers down the mountain, is another feeling. Then, the valley is yours.
1:00 PM
Ski right on back to Le Blizzard for a local lunch. It’s not strictly Alpine so expect some flavours from Italy (fresh pasta) or tataki if it’s on the menu. Stick with the buffet theme and hit the dessert station.
3:56 PM
Restore the sore muscles and take time for yourself in the SPA Clarins. Stroke about in the pool before a restful full-body massage.
7:37 PM
Freshen up and meet downstairs at the bar. The bartenders will know exactly what to suggest. Maybe a coupe of bubbly Champagne (a very good price for the destination) or a strong Negroni.
8:30 PM
Take the shuttle to the hotel’s sister property Hotel La Mourra for a Japanese dinner. It’s a warm but more modern setting. If you want to stay in for the night, La Luge is perfectly cosy and hearty.
