The snow queen of Gstaad, this turreted palace-on-a-hill has more than 100 years of Alpine history and a pool so iconic it drew the Côte d'Azur crowd in 1928. Classic British interior nods, white-gloved staff who are discreetly excellent, and GreenGo, the 1970s-inspired club, for those who stay up late. Some of the best cheese fondue in the area.

With all that fresh outdoors time you’ll want to spend the afternoon in the Palace spa. Book in for a facial, a massage or zen it out in the sauna.

The Palace is really a family. So much so that Restaurant Gildo’s was named after Gild Bocchini who worked at Gstaad Palace for around 43 years.
Staff and employees – around 250 from 19 countries – are well looked after. They’re put up in team homes that allow them to walk to work.
They’ve teamed up with other hotels to use district heating for their local laundry: reducing transport on the roads and water consumption.
