The 57-room Soho passion project of owner Noel Hayden, who enlisted the king of maximalism to design it, Broadwick Soho is eclectic, groovy, and entirely in keeping with its Soho address. Bold patterns, jewel colours, and an impressive art collection throughout; the rooftop bar has one of London's most enjoyable views. A hotel that has made a noisy neighbourhood very proud.

a long weekend, a week
Noel Hayden's Soho passion project. Eclectic, groovy, entirely Soho.
city trippers, design lovers

It’s surprisingly quiet in this hood so early in the morning. Stroll over to Bar Termini for an espresso at the bar before the city wakes up.

These are some of the best shops in the city. Stop into Alex Eagle Studio for logo baseball caps and Murano glassware, Aime Leon Dore for a New York hit and Liberty for all that is London (fabrics and more).
12:29 PM
Chinatown is right here on your doorstep and it would be remiss to not get some towering baskets of dim sum. We love Dumplings Legend for siu mai and soup dumplings.
2:47 PM
Hit up some galleries – Hauser & Wirth, The Photographer’s Gallery – before a drink at the (iconic) French House. Just remember the rules – phones away. Beer is also only served in half pints. This is old-school Soho.
5:50 PM
Take the lift up to Flute, the hotel’s glitzy pattern-happy wraparound rooftop. Those views can’t get any better…take them in with a pre-dinner cocktail (we like the Eyes Wide Shut) in hand.
7:45 PM
You’re spoilt for choice here: head to Kiln for fiery Thai plates or the Devonshire for a seat on the rooftop if you can nab it. If not, a pint of Guinness at the pub downstairs will help. If neither suits, slink downstairs to Dear Jackie at the hotel for something just as delicious (plus those red interiors win us over every time).
10:07 PM
Decked out with Italian fabrics and vintage finds, the Nook feels out of another time. And you’ll lose all sense of time in here too. Spinning vinyl has also been curated by Berwick Street record-store.

Wonderfully, the Broadwick knows the provenance of 100% of the ingredients they use – prioritising locally farmed and seasonal goods.
