Breakfast should be slow here. Tune into the serene and calm, taking notice of the sweet flowers in the bud vases and the particularly delicious bread that comes in from nearby bakery Domestic.

Take it easy. If the weather is nice, make the most of the outdoor swimming pond (you can reserve it for up to four guests) or for chillier temps, stay inside to make full use of the sauna and hammam.

Head to Domestic 1 and then over to Only Cheese for picnic supplies - cheese and bread being the highlights. Stroll over to Stadspark and find a scenic spot (not hard – it's very beautiful). Stop at Andy Roasters for a post-lunch coffee before wandering back.

If you're feeling up for it, jump in a taxi and head to the Axel Vervoodt gallery — it’s a 20-minute drive from the hotel but worth the trip. It's big with plenty to see too, so take your time and don't miss the gardens. Book ahead.

Mosey on into the August bar for 5 pm. It’s stunning (those high ceilings). There are plenty of seasonal sharing dishes if you're peckish but leave plenty of space for dinner...
