A quiet side street between the port and Place des Lices in Saint-Tropez is where this peachy-orange painted 19th-century townhouse sits with a very 1960s spirit. Airelles' interiors are elegant: a lush courtyard garden, a beautiful pool, and rooms that feel genuinely removed from the summer circus outside. Peaceful, considered, and very well positioned for the town's best pleasures.

a long weekend, a week
A 19th-century townhouse on a quiet street. A very 1960s Airelles spirit.

9:02 AM
Head down to the pool for an early morning breakfast. It’s so quiet, with only a few other guests up and ready to get the day started. It’s a spread too: pastries, baguettes, organic omelettes and sweet fruits.
10:28 AM
Roll on over onto a wicker pool bed for a cold water swim before the heat really kicks off. We love a long lazy morning.
12:00 PM
Ask the front desk for a ride to the private beach over at Jardin Tropezina (it belongs to their sister property). As a hotel guest, you get your very own bed. Then, order juicy in-season plates including the tomato salad, it’s packed full of colour, and flavour.
5:25 PM
You’re right in the thrill of the city. Enjoy a golden-hour stroll to the port, popping into the Chanel Villa for a peek at the private pool. If you want a little taste of the famous Tarte Tropézienne (fluffy brioche and sugary pastry cream), the best one is at Les Deux Freres.
7:01 PM
We love the cherry-red Sénéquier, a long-time establishment in the port, for a drink at sunset. It’s iconic.
8:49 PM
There are so many choices for restaurants in Saint–Tropez but we also love the hotel. The menu here mixes local ingredients with Subcontinent flavours. Order the beef tataki with truffle and lobster in a coconut milk bisque.
